The majestic roan antelope, amongst other wildlife found at Nyika, roams across the montane grassland and can be seen either by foot or safari vehicle.

The management team at Chelinda Camp and Lodge comprises of Dennis Stack, Georgina Gallagher and Samson Nkhoma. Samson worked for Wilderness Safaris as a mobile safari guide and worked his way through the ranks with a succession of guiding jobs in both Malawi and Zambia and has now rejoined Chelinda Campas lodge manager.
Dennis and Georgina have many years experience in the business both in Malawi and Zambia and are well known and extremely popular with the travel trade worldwide.

Community Employment: Wilderness Safaris is committed to employing local staff both within their camps and as guides and scout.
Education: Wilderness Safaris has linked with HELP Malawi to support of funding and development of a local government primary school.
Children in The Wilderness: Wilderness Safaris has a charity Children in The Wilderness which promotes conservation and education to underprivileged children.
