Lujeri Lodge was once an estate manager’s house and Lujeri Tea Estate is considered one of the oldest colonial tea estates in this tea plantation area. You can now hire the whole lodge equipped with swimming pool and easy access to hiking routes up the mountain.

Lujeri Tea Estate is located just past Mulanje Boma at the foot of Mulanje Massif.

After Mulanje Boma continue along the M2 road through the tea estates. After about 20 minutes you will come to Lujeri Tea Estate signposted on the left hand side of the road. Turn left here and follow the dirt track up until the main gate where you will check in. The lodge is just past the main gate on the right hand side.
From Limbe, you take the Thyolo road to Mulanje or use the Robert Mugabe Highway (Midima Road) which is also shorter.
From the Police Station at Mulanje Boma take the turn off on the main road, it is approx 15km. You will see a sign on the left Lujeri Tea Estate 7.2 klm after passing through Mimosa Tea Foundation bus stage. It is a dirt road, take this and follow it until you reach the security boom on the Estate. Once through you go approx. 200mts. And you will see a sign on the right Lujeri Lodge; you cannot miss the house you will see it before the sign.
