Chelinda Camp is stunningly set within the rolling hills of Nyika Plateau and provides a wonderful diversity from Malawi's other attractions. The majestic roan antelope, amongst other wildlife found at Nyika, roams across the montane grassland and can be seen either by foot or safari vehicle.
The Camp has two types of accommodation: 1) Four chalets, each with two bedrooms, bathrooms, a lounge, dining area with fireplace and small kitchen area; these are ideal for private groups with their own guide; private meals can be enjoyed in the chalet. 2) Six twin bedded en-suite rooms with either a bath or shower. Guests here take meals in the nearby main area, which has a large dining, bar and lounge area complete with comfortable furnishings and an inviting fireplace
Chelinda Camp has many activities to offer guests. Guided or self drive nature game drives during the day and at night explore the rolling hills and forests of Nyika Plateau. Guests can also take nature walks, hire mountain bikes or, for enthusiasts, there is also an option of fly-fishing (dependent on the season). Bird watchers will be in their element with an estimated 400 bird species found around Chelinda Camp.
