By road: Pumulani can easily be reached by road, the last 30 minutes is along a dirt track which during the rains may be difficult for a saloon car, please phone before departing to check condition of road. From Lilongwe, head along the M14 to Salima. Before entering Salima take the M5 south towards Balaka. Along the M5 take the second road to the left marked Monkey Bay. Do not take the first dirt track road. At the T junction, turn left towards Monkey Bay. After about 10 minutes you will see an Engen fuel station on your left. Turn left here and after 20-30 minutes turn left at signs to Pumulani. The journey from Lilongwe should take approximately 3 hours.
